From Google News Search: "roles" What roles in music do men with bass range voices usually have? Q. I sing in my church choir, and I just like to sing overall. Singing in the bass range is the most natural for me to sing, but I can also sing in a baratone range and some songs in the tenor range. Besides being in a choir, what other roles do men that sing in the bass range have? Or, what roles in music are best for a guy that sings in a bass range? Well i have a much lower voice than what i consider to be "popular" vocal range; meaning a lot of songs that are popular nowadays, are miles above my vocal range. However, there's a few things i do. I play in a band that is kind of a poppy jazzy rock band, similar to the style of Maroon 5. The key is that, while writing songs, i write a melody thats within my range. It doesnt sound bad or anything, just not like normal bands/singers. If writing music isnt your thing, then you're just going to have to get used to the idea of singing bass parts in a group of singers. Q. I'm researching and can only come up with info about Queen Elizabeth. I need to compare roles of queens, in hopes of finding that they simply stood in agreement with their husbands. What would be some credible online sources that I could use for research? Was this in order to leave the power in the hands of the King so as not to create disagreement? Or was it simply the result of the image of women during that time? I'm just trying to justify Queen Gertrude's (Hamlet) seeming indifference towards Hamlet's feelings about hasty marriage as well as her compliance with Claudius' decisions. Asked by VSingh - Wed Jan 28 15:52:34 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Their job was to act as a bargaining item in treaties and breed male children to be the next king. England was the first and for a long time the only European nation to allow a woman to be the sole monarch.
